Our Team
Danu Carers are equipped for success and continue to receive ongoing training and support for as long as they are with Danu. Those new to a caring role are provided with additional training and support when they join our team.
We work in close partnership with our clients, their families and our Carers to deliver the best for our clients individual needs.
Evidence shows that we value our Carers and we have a very low turnover within our team. All Carers have access to our Employee Wellness Programme and career development within the company is encouraged.
Qualified Carers are matched to individual needs and services are available 24/7 365 days a year depending on needs. We pride ourselves on providing consistent and suitable care for our clients.
Quality
Individualised partnership care is provided based on a care plan agreed with family, HSE and healthcare professionals.
Continuous rigorous training programmes are in place to ensure that our team are up to date on any new developments.
Top quality care for clients is our key priority. Care provided is constantly monitored and reviewed. Dedicated Team Leads carry out regular monitored supervision checks and unannounced spot checks with our Carers. The Team Leads also complete quarterly visits to clients and annual reviews. Our Community Support Manager also visits clients and monitors Team Leads.
Annual client and Carers surveys are completed and we make any necessary adjustments in response to feedback.
Used and trusted by HSE to provide care. External audits are carried out by the HSE. Our last review was in 2022 and we were 100% compliant.
Strict confidentiality policy which all Carers are aware of and abide by.
There is a dedicated Care Manager for each geographical area.

She moved to the office side where she worked as an on call assistant. She was promoted within six months to the scheduling team.
Elaine then worked as a co-ordinator, care manager and now is a proud regional manager.
During her career she have studied hard and also raised her three now adult children.
She understands on a personal level and can empathise with the struggles that can arise for the team of carers on the road and is always there to lend support.

I started as a health care assistant in 2016 as I was a stay-at-home mom and didn’t know if I was up to the task. Needless to say I loved the job and knew this was going to be a career for me. So, I worked hard, and I done all the courses I could find to try to advance my role. So, in 2020 I joined Anns during covid and I travelled all over the country as emergency covid cover in nursing homes for weeks on end. After the pandemic I started a community care run on weekends in Co. Louth and this was the beginning of CHO8 (rural Ireland). It grew and grew and in 10 months May 2022 I was promoted to Team Lead for Louth and Monaghan. With hard work and dedication, I got another promotion to Community Support Manager in February 2023. I have worked alongside the care managers in the office and out in the community.
My role is to be the Mammy on the road as I say and to be available to all care staff when they need me if its work related or not.
Outside of work I have 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren and a 4th on the way to keep me on my toes. I have a love for travelling and jet off when I can to go explore new places either with or without my family. Binge watching boxsets is my down time after work.
